Tufts University is a private research university with three campuses in Boston Massachusetts.   Established in 1852 on Walnut Hill in Medford Massachusetts, Tufts University has since expanded down the hill and into a larger 150 acre campus.  Today Tufts University boasts two more campuses in downtown Boston”s historic Chinatown and in the suburb of Grafton, Mass., in addition to the main campus in Medford, Massachusetts.   Downtown Boston to Chinatown campus houses the Tufts University school of medicine and the Tufts University school of dental medicine, as well as Tufts medical center.   The Grafton campus is home to the Cummings school of veterinary medicine.
